Launch the ProMass home page.ProMass allows for manual deconvolution processing by importing text format spectra from the windows clipboard. This is the way you would process infusion data (data with no chromatographic peaks) or for the purposes of tuning your ZNova parameters. You can process a spectrum from the windows clipboard using the Build ZNova Params screen.
To process a clipboard spectrum from within the Build ZNova Params screen:
Launch the ProMass home page.
Click the Build ZNova
Params button.
Enter
your ZNova parameters. You can restore an existing parameter file, restore
system defaults 
, or enter parameters
directly.
Copy
your spectrum to the clipboard from Xcalibur Qual Browser.
Paste your Xcalibur spectrum into the Build ZNova Params application by clicking the
paste from clipboard button 
on the Build ZNova Params toolbar.
The spectrum will be
processed with the current set of displayed parameters. When done, ProMass will launch
a web browser window to display a deconvoluted spectrum report.
Note: Copying profile spectra to the clipboard can be a very slow process. This is an inherent feature within Xcalibur. The ZNova console window may indicate "waiting for clipboard data..." for a minute or so while Qual Browser transfers the spectrum to the
clipboard.
